SBDC Day

March 18th, 2020 marks the fourth SBDC Day which is a national proclamation of the success and impact America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) have across the nation in economic development and the small business community.

There are nearly 1,000 SBDCs across the United States who strive to make a difference in our communities each day by coaching entrepreneurs and helping businesses grow to new levels. Clients who have worked in-depth with business advisors in America’s Small Business Development Center network have collectively made an economic impact resulting in a U.S. job created every 9 minutes, $100,000 in new sales every 15 minutes, $100,000 obtained in financing every 17 minutes, and a new business opened every 45 minutes.

Trinity Valley SBDC was founded in 1987. For the last 20 years, Trinity Valley SBDC has played a role in the approval of $152,362,323 of capital infusion, which could include SBA loans, commercial bank loans, lines of credit, grants, and owner investment. As a result, new businesses have emerged in our local communities, strengthening our economy and creating new jobs.

Examples of engagement for Trinity Valley SBDC include the refinance of more than $6 million for a wholesale nursery, purchasing advice and financing assistance for a food/fuel/convenience store, and start-up help for a Boots-to-Business (veteran owned) landscaping company.

Serving the five counties of Anderson, Henderson, Kaufman, Rains, and Van Zandt, Trinity Valley SBDC is proud to offer no cost consulting to start-ups and existing businesses within our area. To meet with an advisor, call our office at 903-675-7403 to set up an appointment.
