Mike Ellsberry, TVCC SBDC Director
Mike Ellsberry is Director of the Trinity Valley Community College Small Business Development Center—a program of the Small Business Administration, the State of Texas and the college. The SBDC provides free and confidential counseling for those seeking to start a business or those already in business. Each year the SBDC counsels upwards of 150 clients in the five county area and has assisted in locating financing of over $6,000,000 for clients this year.
Mike grew up in a small business. Following his education at the University of Texas he has worked in the recreational marine, wholesale gift and decorative accessories, consulting, and commercial loan brokerage industry.
For a number of years Mike was the President of the Dallas Boat Show.
Jamee Nitschke - Business Advisor
Jamee possesses a unique skill set having a strong background in public accounting as well as extensive experience in the digital marketing field. She is a graduate of Tarleton State University and her work experience includes working with small business owners to achieve maximum profitability through various accounting and marketing processes. She is a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor and was previously certified in Google Analytics and Google AdWords.
Jamee holds office hours in Kaufman, Forney and Athens, concentrating her efforts on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs in Rains, Van Zandt, and Kaufman counties.
