Mike Ellsberry, TVCC SBDC Director

Mike Ellsberry has served as the Director of the Trinity Valley Community College Small Business Development Center for the past 11 years. Prior to relocating to the Athens community, Mike held the Business Advisor position at the NCTC SBDC in Denton.

Mike grew up in a small business and possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Following his education at the University of Texas, he worked in multiple industries including the recreational marine supply industry, consulting industry, and commercial loan brokerage industry. For a number of years, Mike was the President of the Dallas Boat Show. His first-hand knowledge in a wide variety of trades provides his client's with invaluable insight to what it takes to operate a successful business.

Jamee Nitschke - Business Advisor

Jamee possesses a unique skill set having a strong background  in public accounting as well as extensive experience in the digital marketing field. She is a graduate of Tarleton State University and her work experience includes working with small business owners to achieve maximum profitability through various accounting and marketing processes. She is a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor and was previously certified in Google Analytics and Google AdWords.

Jamee holds office hours in Kaufman, Forney and Athens, concentrating her efforts on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs in Rains, Van Zandt, and Kaufman counties.
